FAQ

What’s the difference between the “Match Score” and the “Relevancy Score”?

  • The Match Score (the percentage) is a deep analysis of how well the skills and experience on your resume align with the specific requirements listed in the job description.
  • The Relevancy Score (the bullseye icon) is a measure of how relevant the job title itself is to your original search query. It helps filter out jobs with misleading titles, ensuring the opportunity aligns with your core search intent.

What are the different Agent Types (Comprehensive, Monitor, Backfill)?

  • Comprehensive Search: This is the recommended default. It performs a deep search for all jobs in a past period (e.g., “Past Month”) and then transitions to monitoring for new jobs daily.
  • Daily Monitor: This agent only looks for new jobs posted in the last 24 hours.
  • One-Time Backfill: This agent performs a single, deep search for jobs and then automatically stops.

Why is my uploaded resume status pending?

When you upload a resume, it enters our asynchronous preprocessing pipeline. This involves a virus scan, text extraction, and AI analysis to structure your data. This process can take a few minutes. The status will automatically update to successful once it’s complete and ready for use in your search agents.

I created a search agent, but I don’t see any matches yet. Why?

There could be a few reasons:

  1. Agent is new: The agent needs time to run its first search, find jobs, and analyze them. Searches are typically run between 8 AM and 8 PM EST.
  2. No new jobs: The job market fluctuates. Your agent may have run, but the selected job board didn’t have any new listings matching your specific criteria since the last run.
  3. Out of credits: If you’ve run out of credits, all of your agents will be paused. You can purchase more on the Pricing page or redeem a code on your Account page.
  4. Agent is disabled: Check the Job Search Agents page to ensure the agent is enabled.

What happens when I give feedback on a match?

Providing “Good” or “Bad” feedback helps our AI learn your preferences. While it doesn’t immediately re-rank your existing matches, this data is used to refine our global scoring models over time, leading to better quality matches for everyone in the future.

What does the “Hide Duplicates” filter do?

Sometimes companies post the same job multiple times. When “Hide Duplicates” is enabled, your match list will only show you the single best-scoring version of that job, cleaning up your view so you can focus on unique opportunities.
